Puffed Rice Mixture (Pori/Murmuralu)


Ingredients:

Puffed Rice 250 gms
Roastedgram dal 2 Tbl Spn
Roasted groundnuts 2 Tbl Spn
Asafoetida 1 tsp
Curry leaves 2 Tbl Spns
Mustard 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 and 1/2 tsps
Salt (Powder) 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coconut Oil 2 Tbl Spn

Preparation:

Keep a big kadai in stove. Keep it in low flame. Put oil then asafoetida, mustard. After mustard crackle put curry leaves roastedgram dal, groundnuts, chillipowder, salt, turmeric powder. Mix well for few minutes Then add puffed rice and mix gently for 5 minutes. Remove it from fire.
After it becomes cool keep it in air tight box.

For variation: When you eat you can add finely cut onions and lemon juice for a change.
