Badhusha

Ingredients:
  • Maida 2 Cups(full)
  • Fresh white butter 1/2 Cup
  • Oil For deep frying
  • Saffron - little
  • Cardamom powder - little
  • Cooking soda - (one pinch for one cup maida)
  • Kesari colour - Optional
  • Sugar 1 and 1/2 Cups

Method:

Sieve soda and maida for three times. Add butter, saffron, cardomom powder and colour to the flour and mix gently. Now mix water and knead to a stiff dough. Keep it for half an hour. Then make lemon size balls and press it in the centre. Deep fry it in medium flame three to four pieces at a single time. When it comes to golden in color take it from oil. After finishing it you can prepare sugar syrup. It should be in one sting consistency. Dip the fried ones in hot syrup and keep it on a plate side by side. Don't keep one on the other. If you want you can decorate it with badam fine slices on the top.
